TITA’S PECAN TASSIES 

Filling:
3/4 c chopped pecans (tita does hers tiny). I toast them, but the recipe does not call for that. 
1 whole egg
3/4 c brown sugar
1 T vanilla
1 T melted butter

Dough:
1/4 lb butter
3 oz cream cheese
1 c sifted flour

Mix filling and set aside. Divide dough into 24 equal balls (3/4ish inch diameter) and place in mini muffin tins. Press in the center and up sides forming cups. Spoon filling into each cup (will easily overflow when baking). Bake at 375 for 25 minutes or until browned. 

*This is a fantastic crust for tiny quiches or any other filling that you love.
